With the passing of time it has become clear to most people, that so much of what passed as “news” about Iraq as disseminated by the global mainstream media was simply not true. It was pro war propaganda used by the USA and its puppet states across Europe to rally world public support for Western military and Western corporate take over of Iraq.
Precisely the same situation applied regards the war in The Balkans – the 1999

NATO aggression against the peoples of Yugoslavia and the illegal abduction and “trial” of President Slobodan Milosevic – all based on a LIE.

As more and more peace organisations and Human Rights Lawyers and Barristers, artists and writers world-wide campaign for the abolishment of the illegal US/NATO sponsored and controlled International Criminal “Tribunal” for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, members of the ICDSM (Irish Section) wish to state that we are very proud to be a part of this global campaign against US/EU generated elitism, imperialism and warfare. It is in this spirit and in our mutual struggle for truth, justice and peace we send this message of support to our dear comrades and friends in London tonight.
