Ancien regime retakes Milosevic home town
POZAREVAC -- Sunday The Socialist Party of Serbia
and the Yugoslav Left, the parties headed by Slobodan
Milosevic and his wife Mirjana Markovic have regained
power in the local council in the former first
couple’s home town of Pozarevac.
At a sitting of the council yesterday, the entire
local government executive was dismissed and replaced
by members of the former ruling coalition.
The new mayor of Pozarevac is Dusan Vujicic of
Milosevic’s Socialist Party of Serbia.
