To the President Slobodan Milosevic - The Hague

Dear President Milosevic,

We are all today at The Hague for the sake of the freedom and democracy.
We are all here for the sake of our children, for the future of the people.
We wish to shake your hand, to congratulate you and to express our appreciation for the courage and wisdom in your defense of the truth which gives hope to millions. We want to assure you that we see you as a man whom we shall all follow to get rid of injustice, dictatorship and tyranny.

The brightest freedom loving, democratic and antifascist traditions of the Serbian people should be today the guidelines for all of us. The colonization and occupation can not last long - we are sure about it. That's why we gather and get organized.

We kindly ask you to transmit that our conviction and determination to other patriots and freedom fighters who are together with you in the temporary confinement. The will and power of the united people can break any chains. The Serbian people has proven that many times in its history. That will happen this time as well.

Together with us are many honest and honorable persons from Europe and the world. They know that by defending our freedom, we defend the freedom of all peoples. They know that by defending the truth, equality, Serbia and Yugoslavia, you defend the rights of all those who wish to live in peace and to live honestly.
We have addressed the strongest demands to all key international factors and we expect them to be just, since the justice can only be fulfilled in the name of the people.

We wish you good health and to be with us as soon as possible.
You struggle for all of us and we shall struggle for our and your freedom.

The Serbs and other European citizens
gathered at the demonstrations in The Hague
on Vidovdan, June 28, 2003
